A Room with a View

Category : Black & White, Landscape · No Comments · by Dec 9th, 2017

One of the biggest benefits of bicycle touring and camping in Scandinavia is being able to choose a private spot to spend a night almost anywhere you please. So, after about a 100 kilometres we pedalled on that day, we arrived to a beautiful tiny lake in Sweden. It had numerous fishing peers and also a wind shelter with a fire place where we set camp for the night. The photo was actually made from the location where our tent stood. It is nature in it’s purest form that is captured in this photo. Well, except for some artefacts of civilisation… It was a beautiful evening for sure.

It was a nice day coming to an end in Bjärred, Sweden. We went for an evening stroll along the beach and walked to the end of a 500 m long peer with a sauna on the end. It was not particularly warm, but Swedes don’t seem to feel the chill…

Down on the Corner in Palamós

Palamós really is a wonderful mediterranean city. One of those still not totally converted to tourist traps. And it is so wonderfully picturesque! I wanted to post some more photos, but my drive is full so it will have to wait until I get back home…
